I didn't buy much for myself at today's HardOff, but I loved the pastel '80s colours of this blank 10-min cassette, themed for making your own Karaoke tapes

I'm at Hard Off 4-gō Tochigi Ishibashi (HARDOFF ４号栃木石橋店). Been awhile since I was here even though it's relatively close to home. #ハードオフファミリー

HardOff shop in Kokubunji had this KOYO KTR 1661 multiband radio (from 1965!) for an amazingly low 1000 yen. It's in rough shape, but still received FM and shortwave when I tested it -- a no-brainer to snap up! It picks up airplane communications as well, but rather low sensitivity. Still, a beauty.

At a HardOff I caught a glimpse of an oldschool Japanese mechanical typewriter. The Nippon Type PanWriter types in 3 colours and somehow impacts one of the over 2300 glyphs onto the paper after the user manually slides over the rows & columns and presses down to type it. (Zoom in for the details)

First #hardoff (and last one for Taiwan, we need to be at the airport tomorrow at 12:00) located in Taoyuan, next to Taipei near the airport. Not a lot of interesting stuff, friend said last year the game section was twice as big. No one got anything, we did see something interesting...
