Lakeridge Health has implemented a Hospital Emergency Room tracker. Wouldn't it be great to see this implemented province wide ?

Wouldn't it be a wonderful thing if #ontario #canada had a central referral database system. So much time is currently being wasted by doctor's offices, patients and specialists chasing down faxes, emails and web page forms. Not to mention unnecessary delays. #onpoli #hcincanada #healthcare

Thanks to the Libs we have a Canadian Dental Plan that helps with some costs. How about an eye plan @healthcanada. Cataract surgery $3,000 out of pocket. Eye drops (Cequa) $400 per month. Eye drops (Thealoz) $40 per month. Tests and scans $145 annually. Glasses $200-700. #hcincanada #cdnpoli

I am shocked to learn how much these eye drops are going to cost me, to treat severe dry eye disease. This will be a lifetime prescription to save my ision. No coverage at all from OHIP. Dry eye disease is very common. @healthcanada. #hcincanada #cdnpoli

Think about it for a second. You are a senior. Like many seniors, you need your cataracts removed and new lenses installed. You visit your optomotrist for your 18 month ohip covered eye exam and you are referred at that time to have your cataracts removed. You get referred to an opthmologist.../2
