Hm... In the end, using an HDRI was better. I made a few super simple building models and scattered on the outside of the scene I'd created, but this HDRI I found does the job a lot better. Ain't no beating real constructed spaces haha

my Hot Modding Tip of the day that's probably been talked about but idc is that you should replace the default blender HDRI (shown on the left) with a studio lighting HDRI that has bright, neutral lighting and minimal harsh shadows. your eyeballs will thank you. be free

My biggest problem is taking time just to play with the model instead of making progress lol. I love how this animation sorta works no matter where he is looking. Also some HDRI previews.
