see I think that despite all of the death flag comments, I do think eyeing the whole 'Baldr gets better in the myth' helps.
I mean I think he's the Haurche-coded guy in HW2 here. He might not be a literal shard(50/50), but at least coded. Which means yeah he might bite it buuuut-

Was listening to music to vibe within Hard//Ship but part of it (perhaps appropriately) vibes with how I perceive the Taiidan in Homeworld. Suddenly I got really angry/bummed Homeworld ended the way it did. I miss being optimistic for what came next.

It makes sense, in a perverse way, when you think about the system design process that happened at Tesla. The goal was always making a cheap solution, one that would be a small fraction of the cost of the car. The HW2 boards used the GP-106 chips, because that's what was on the market at the time.

Good ideas are a matter of perspective. For example, there's a very old legend that back during the design phase of Tesla's HW2 they realized their chips couldn't handle the camera input, so Musk ordered to get lower resolution cameras.
