Randomly need to say it, and will likely need to say it more in the coming year, I really don’t want a new stadium at RFK and to lose The Fields at RFK. #HailNo

So as I sit on the day long hearing for the RFK development as I await to give testimony I am noticing Felder continuously using his questioning time to push pro stadium advocates to continue to sing praise and not actually ask anything constructive.

Northern Colorado Hailstorm's franchise agreement with USL has been terminated, apparently unilaterally by the league.

Additionally, Central Valley Fuego and USL "come to a mutual decision to part ways."

This inherently good, but I will be engaging my councils members to not give money to a billionaire for a NFL stadium that will sit dormant 340 (being generous) days of the year and the seas of parking that accompany them. #HailNo
A Christmas miracle? Early Saturday morning, the Senate unanimously approved a bill giving D.C. expanded control over much of the aging and abandoned RFK stadium site.
A Christmas miracle? Senate approves bill to transfer RFK stadium land to D.C.
This gives the District an opportunity to build new housing, retail, parks — and possibly a new stadium for the Commanders.

HailNo is out of commission, hopefully for only a day or two.

I think she needs a wheel bearing replacement.

Anyone have a car I can destroy with hail while I wait for repairs?!? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Full house and full spillover room at the “No Playground for Billionaires” event, gathering community advocates who don’t want an NFL stadium at RFK. Huge concerns about parking structures, lack of metro investments, lack of housing ownership opportunities in the current development plans. #HailNo

This is just 1 reason I have problems rubber-stamping a pie in the sky plan for a stadium. Any community driven initiative for safe streets is likely to get pulled unilaterally by the admin because of the almighty efficiency of private vehicles on the 20 days a year it’s used. #HailNo
The H St NE bus lanes are supposed to deliver safety and transit efficiency. If the Mayor cancels them now, it could represent a pattern of killing long-term projects that communities and her own administration have invested in for several years.
Uh oh! Is Bowser trying to kill the long-planned H St NE bus lanes?

Will be canvassing for signatures once this drops. I was always against a new stadium in DC, but now with the current fed admin and clear lack of autonomy, this is no time to waste our tax dollars to aide in the complete waste of land use that is a NFL stadium in an urban environment. #HailNo
In this week's Wilson Building Bulletin: A group of progressive activists say they are planning a push to put a measure on the D.C. ballot that, if approved by voters, would prohibit the RFK site from being used for a new football stadium.

RFK Town Hall speaker: “We need to figure out where we widen roads”. We know where you’re gonna widen roads, to accommodate parking garages in Kingman Park 😡

Lot of doom and gloom in recent headlines, but the fact is DC getting control of the land is good and necessary. It would be better if we didn’t all know Bowsers and McDuffie’s endgame, but we as a community can advocate for what we think the site should be used for. #HailNo

Jealous Takoma gets to replace 100+ parking spots into homes via transit oriented development. While we get to convert parking into more parking via parking garages to accommodate a stadium that will sit underutilized 345 days of the year. #HomesNotStadiums #HailNo
Big news: @wmata.com has approved plans for 400+ units of housing with affordable units, green space, and retail at Takoma Station! 🚊🏘️

This is a huge win for transit-oriented, people-centered housing, and I'm proud to have worked with ANC 4B and neighbors to deliver it for #Ward4.

This is why cities don’t need NFL stadiums, cities preform best that are self serving to the dense communities that live with in it providing strong economic cycle. Not wasting vast swaths of land for 20 days of the year pops. #HomesNotStadiums #HailNo
All Baltimoreans should be pro city growth because part of the reason your taxes are so high is that we have about half the population this city was built to handle. All that infrastructure isn't going to magically improve without some serious regaining of population.

$1.1 Billion (with a B) is close to some other number I have seen in the news recently but I can't quite remember where.... #HailNo
Per city officials, lowering the federal match rate would cost D.C. $1.1 billion in funds annually. The total cost when factoring in hospitals and healthcare providers in the city would be $2.1 billion.
