Took some photos yesterday.
a narrow and curved street at dusk, there are tall half-timbered houses to either side of the street, the one on the right leaning slightly into the street, while the ones on the left have floors slightly overarching the sidewalk. there's a T-intersection in the background where two more houses can be seen, another half-timbered house and one from 1966 that tries to blend in with the surrounding architecture. A red car is crossing the inersection, blurred because of the shutter speed. The scene is tinted yellow by a lamp mounted to one of the houses on the left, its light reflecting on the walls and windows of the surrounding buildings. A narrow street, featuring old garages with chipping paint and half-timbered house on the left. The garage door are slightly diagonal to the street to make parking easer, its paint is chipping. The house behind has a facade covered in shingles, although some of them have been torn off by wind. The ground floor is covered in sheets of plywood nailed onto the wall and over the windows. The left side of the street is made up of an assortment of half-timbered houses of different floor heights and ages, some slightly overarchng the sidewalk. There's a T-intersecton in the back, where there is another half-timberes house and one (presumably?) made of stone, both only 2.5 floors tall. There is a street lamp to the right of the street and one with a more yellow tone in the back illuminating the dusky scene.

There's many, many half-timbered houses like the ones on the sides of this image where I'm living now in France. Very fun to walk around.

Oh... you’re writing in German - awesome! I love these old half-timbered houses, even though they are difficult to renovate. Fortunately, there are still skilled craftspeople around who keep everything in good condition. Die alten Marktplätze aus dem Mittelalter sind etwas ganz Besonderes 🏠.

Street View of a two-story Tudor revival single family home. Main section side-gabled red brick. Half-timbered cross-gable above entrance on right, with right eaves dropping, Storybook-like to the height of the middle of the front door. Prominent chimney toward left, with stone covering bottom half, spreading to nearby facade. House on a little elevation with steps to lawn level and more steps to front door.
