I am back to discussing The Surreal and The Weird, with a particular look at Harry Kümel’s Malpertuis (1971). The Weird nature of Malpertuis comes from Jean Ray, author of the original 1943 novel.

I've been invited to interview #HarryKümel, Belgian director of Les lèvres rouges (1971, aka Daughters of Darkness), Malpertuis (1971, aka The Legend of Doom House) and Repelsteeltje (1973). Good job he speaks English. If all goes well, it's earmarked for a UK #horror #magazine.
