I was helping a guy design a character for a ttrpg last night and he was comparing numbers between HeroLab, Foundry, and an AI-generated stat block and he asked why the AI one was showing a different number and I tried to be as nice as I could while saying, "in fairness, AI doesn't know anything."

Now I need to throw together a character in Herolab to see how they're interpreting that rule. I don't think Foundry particularly interprets it since you set the proficiency for your spell sections.

I really hope herolab is on the ball, I really don’t wanna hand write character sheets for my 10th level investigator or 7th level swashbuckler, but looking forward to the rebuild!

I spent like 200 bucks on HeroLab to have all of the Shadowrun 5e content and I never get to use that stuff. Got no interest in Shadowrun 6e because I don't have that data easily at my disposable and easy to use (the Chummer software doesn't interest me).

I did so many character builds in Mutants & Masterminds 2e. Manually, even, 'cause we didn't have HeroLab yet and I never got around to acquiring it.

I think that HeroLab Online is set up for this, still free to test out today (during GenCon) and worth a look.

How is my #Pathfinder2E journey going? I'm over-thinking (surprise), and after session zero, I have a more solid idea now. That means I'm still pouring over dozens of books and noodling around in herolab. The skinny, we're adventuring in the Eyes of Dread and are 2nd level.

Ah, this is HeroLab. Unfortunately, we use a stand-alone app that’s no longer being supported by the company because they’ve moved to an online/cloud-based service.
It’s a shame because it does quite a lot and supports custom content creation.
