🏡 THE MARKET DOESN’T OWE YOU PERFECT TIMING

Rates change. Prices change. Life changes too.

The real question is whether the move makes sense for you right now. ✅

Don’t wait for perfect. Make sure it makes sense.

I actually think this tells a story less about removing profit than about who has power. Landlords & homesellers have less power when housing is abundant. Buyers & tenants have more power to use on a thing they want: helping families and friends.

I agree on a deep level but on an immediate scale I actually think this tells a story less about mutual aid & goodwill than about power. Landlords & homesellers have less power when housing is abundant. Buyers & tenants have more power to use on a thing they want: helping families and friends.

Can any Realtors or homesellers justify to me the argument that sellers should pour lots of money into a home before sale?

annoys me cuz (a) raises barrier to low-wealth buyers (b) boosts risk to seller (c) benefits sale agents who recommend it (d) cuts odds of redevelopment
