Late start to the Covid wave? Hawaii says no worries we will do our best to play catch up. Honouliuli is now rapidly rising. Please remember this can get corrected but for the time being it is rapidly going up.

You believed the seat was safe enough for you to join the other fascists?
Enjoy your last term. Your family has been permanently disgraced. Maybe they’ll put your name on Honouliuli when it reopens?

Minor nitpick for @maddow.bsky.social, who told @nicollewallace.bsky.social that there were no WWII incarceration camps in Hawai‘i. Actually, the first camp in the U.S. was at Sand Island, and a camp at Honouliuli held POWs *and* U.S. citizens of Japanese ancestry. www.nps.gov/hono/learn/h...

It's been great to host Christine Ogura, the superintendent of the Honouliuli National Historic Site in Hawaii. We're sharing information and ideas about how to tell the story of the Japanese American incarceration in Hawaii and Wyoming.
