Does no one have the courage to tell Trump that the Strait of Hourmuz is only blocked because of his and Netanyahu’s illegal war?
Why would India ship to the USA by way of the strait of Hormuz? The Persian gulf is a dead-end body of water with no other shipping exit.
Continuing past Hourmuz to the Bab al-Mandab would lead to the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean sea, which is a shortcut to the USA.

It's the best deal he's going to get. Open the Strait of Hourmuz and call it a win! If he thinks, after all this, that Iran is going to give up its uranium, he's kidding himself. He's just shown them that they need a nuclear weapon.

Trump has got the best response he can hope for under the circumstances. There's an urgent need to open the Strait of Hourmuz for the economies of the world. His aggression means Iran is more likely than before to want a nuclear weapon. Achieve what is achievable - open the Strait and call it a win.

Trump told both our own Allies, NATO and US enemies “to get your own lubricant from the Strait of Hourmuz.” Hopefully every one of us has learned that appeasing his vanity is a failed strategy going forward.
