The basement room that used to be my brother’s until he moved out 10 years ago, and now essentially serves as my mum’s attic. At least I can’t complain about lack of space , and the bed is a bed. #duvetknowitschristmas

GOOD SUBMISSIVE: I'm mid housemove and regular - a sweet little service sub - has asked for the privilege of coming to cook dinner, chop kindling, clean, do some car maintenance and heat the sauna.
BAD SUBMISSIVE: 'I want to be your slave' * provides long list of exactly what they want me to do *

It’d be nice if doing fuckall came with a bit more of a sense of achievement - between kids, aged parents, housemove & decoration, running business, and general stuff for as long as I can remember, this morning I got to 11am without having done anything other than having tea & marmalade.

Me, weeks ago: I'll prep for that nearer the time as I have some existing notes.
Me, two days out: the notes were in a notebook...the notebooks are in a box...there are still eight unpacked boxes from the housemove. I will never find these notes in time.

I've been wearing the same pair of socks for five days because it's still "just moved in chaos" in the bedroom.
However the "pop up pot garden" is taking shape... #Priorities

And I definitely need more lace in my life. Now that the housemove is done my mind has been turning more to learning how to sew, finally.

Unpacking breakables that you didn't pack yourself is so nerve wracking, no matter how I promise myself to be cool 🤣 #oldthings #ceramics #housemove
