Increasingly, these pressers seem like an opportunity for Trump to get information from the media about what is happening outside of his bubble, not the opposite.

There is no federal or state statute that requires a journalist to sit alongside Tricia McLaughlin on a CNN stage and treat her as if she's a honest broker of information.

Normal electoral politics ain't cutting it. Exposure is great, but only if the Dems have the House. What Dems need is a media infrastructure that can litigate elite impunity, not just Trump's, with or without control of the branches of government.
