just gonna put it out there that the ao3 dot life site that stole everyone's fics off ao3 was bound to happen and that ao3 has been scraped dozens of times over. it's the most obvious target for AI training material out there. my guess is that they're using the huggingface dataset from a while back

they include scrapes of the site in their source list, and we have already seen several massive full scrapes of the site uploaded to AI dataset brokers like huggingface. popularity or community uploading will have no bearing on how much fic they can vacuum up.
