I do get why people like Anil see this as a moment to spike the football but imo some humility is in order. In the fall of '24, very few people reached conclusions that seem obvious today. (Of course, I was one of the fools, so I am also being a self-serving Smart Thinker!)

Here in Canada, I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes to cast a ballot. The "greatest democracy in the history of the planet" looks to us like a third world country. A dose of humility and a complete revision of your electoral system is an urgent requirement.
