#Hunour
"The fact that you appreciate my hunour is something that I will never take for granite. It means the world to me. Most people just assume I'm talking schist but it's not their fault that they're uneducated."
"Why of course.
I expected no less from you.
A scientist of your capacity is meant to rock foundations."
"Thank you for taking note of my smashing Geology based wordplay. It makes me very sedimental."

I would argue this is worse. Not defending RPO, but i actually read thru the damn thing and it wasnt saturated with millennial cringe hunour. I got about 100 pages into dungeon crawler carl and just straight up could not continue.

Whatever Sofie, this is what is up: What you do is showing people: Yeah its bad, Yeah its painfull but there is also a human with hope, hunour, joy and love. You do not become a helpless plant, it can be treated.

And i think people, not as mentally strong, can find their own peace in it and hope.

I nearly choked on my tea reading that 😂
(I understood inference and hunour, so I probs can’t be autistic either… 🙄)

Thanks Ann. Your humorous replies always brighten up my feed when folks like Uta and RFK are on one.

Craig Ferguson (THE PHYSICAL HUNOUR AND THE CONCAVE TALK SHOW BANTER) and Florence Pugh
(Though the Cruikshank reveal gave me a LITERAL jumpscare cause I thought George Clooney was in the movie for a sec)
This week, @ellenbyronla.bsky.social is here for Silver Screen Sleuths! We're talking about one of the greatest comedy capers/sexiest whodunits of the 1960s: CHARADE, starring Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, and a cavalcade of character actors that can't be matched. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VtO...

For me, the english comic Viz is the peak of this. Just absolute toilet hunour mixed with references to poetry and writing that I haven't got a hope of getting

a urban fantasy/magical realistic game with a tutti fritti like sense of hunour

I've been slowly rewatching Dan Vs when I just need something in English to fill 30 minutes. Each episode makes me more and more sad this got cancelled after three seasons. The hunour is simultaneously wacky and dark in a way shows targeting a younger audience usually can't be.

Ir A Piece of the Action without the charm, wit, hunour, or frankly sense.
This is a "Surreal" one of tha landing party trapped in an alien created recreation of a bad 20th century novel.

So, basically a holodeck episode without the holodeck.

It barely counts as a “lover,” but when Q’linn was a kid in Ala Mhigo he crushed hard on a young Maxima who stayed there with his family for a summer.

Q’linn’s in a committed relationship when they meet again, and they both have good hunour about it - especially that his partner is another Garlean.
idk if this is a good one but #wolqotd does your wol have past lovers/partners that they parted ways with? how would your wol react if they meet again?

There are times where I have seriously messed up thoughts and begin to worry about myself.

Then I remember that Stephan King is paid to have these thoughts and I feel much better.

Well not everytime. Must depend on where you are coming from.

Humour can be for fun, sometimes its cynical hunour, or to call out said bigotry. Like right now people are making fun on trump's claim that he thought his ai image of him as jesus was him as doctors. Humour can be used to ridicule .

There are so many amazing books out there, many of them with an excellent sense of hunour, but few that really set out saying that they want to be funny. What are your favourites?

Love this sign from the Glasgow-based street artist A Sign of Humour on Pacific Quay in Glasgow, with the Glasgow Tower and Science Centre in the background.

I don't know if it's because they just forget or because they think I won't be upset, but tons of straight people think they can make homophobic jokes around me because I don't "act gay"

Like, I don't actually mind gay jokes, I like purile hunour, but their jokes were just derision.

i don’t know if this is just ai or ai and satire or seriously ai or just a pile of shit?
