Hypercolor, was briefly a very successful line of clothing that changed color. It was so popular, stores couldn't keep it in stock. Eventually though the novelty wore off and people stopped buying it. Today I take a look at the rise and fall of Hypercolor.

Bonus thread on Hypercolor shirts for my fellow geriatrics who remember the 90's.
If you were a kid in the 90's, you probably remember the Hypercolor craze. Shirts that changed color in response to body temperature, producing after-images that slowly faded.

Launched in 1991 by Generra Sportswear, they struggled to meet up with overwhelming demand.

But how did it work?

The overnight whistle haul. I broke out some neon lime and yellow that someone sent from the wishlist and it's like a hypercolor t-shirt in the box! 😍 💕
