If an article like this appeared in a magazine like the New Yorker and it had my name attached to it, I would immediately drive down I45 to Galveston, turn right on 33rd, then drive off the end of 33rd and into the sea. I wouldn't even walk into the sea--that would be too slow.

A Texas Triangle route is so long overdue. Driving between Houston and San Antonio or Houston and Dallas is soooooo boring and I10 and I45 are a mess. Would love the option to ride a train.
