3) If accreditation isn't secured, there are still options:

a) Work outside the NHS
b) Top-up modules from accredited universities

You can apply for the IBMS to assess your degree/transcript to ascertain whether the curriculum is satisfactory (for a fee, which is currently £335), and

2) IBMS accreditation is of course desirable, and if you plan to work for the NHS - essential. From an academic perspective, not being accredited does not necessarily mean the quality of the course is worse than an accredited one. Oxford University, for example, offers a
