I love mine but I really wish Hyundai would be more upfront about the ICCU issue. Ours died and it was a pain in the ass

The drivetrain of an electric car is nothing but an overgrown cordless drill.
We're still learning a lot about how to make them (just ask Hyundai about the ICCU!) but if we have to live in this dumb world where you need a car to survive, cars should be as simple as possible.

Absolutely a wonderful car. I really wish they could fully and finally figure out an ICCU fix though. 😓

Ioniq 5 ist schon eine andere Nummer. Lädt ca doppelt so schnell und ist ansonsten auch viel moderner. Weiß aber nicht, wie viel Platz er innen hat. Ist ja schon ein etwas spezielles Format.

I have a few little bugbears with the car (it needs a rear wiper but doesn't have one is the biggest gripe) and there have been some elusive issues with a component called the ICCU which haven't affected me but required a few recalls.
But overall it's the best car I've owned by far.

I brought my car in first-thing Monday morning (7/27) and they confirmed the borked ICCU within a few hours. Just picked up the car earlier today with the new ICCU & it's fixed!
