If you need something of minivan size (ie seats at least 6) right now your options are basically Hyundai Ioniq9 or the Kia EV9. Subaru and Toyota have delayed their 3 row EV-SUVs. I was car shopping this summer and those were our options so we got the impractical VW idBuzz instead (and love it).

If I don't follow you or you are very new to following me, plz keep in mind that I didn't ask for your opinion on literally anything, certainly not the purchase of my dream car VW idBuzz, and I have already had a VW EV (the eGolf they now pretend never existed) for 10 years and love it.

We rented an idBuzz for the weekend to see if it could handle a trip to the family mountain cabin, which it did with no problems. And I still really want one.

If you are a Canadian who doesn't take a lot of road trips (or is a 2 car family with another one for trips) I would seriously consider the VW IDBuzz after its massive price drop.
Its been (somewhat fairly) criticized for its shorter than avg range but depending on habits its more than enough 1/
