My daily morning routine revolves around checking my glucose before I even get out of bed, making a high-octane protein coffee and chugging it like my life depends on it, and then making a bigger decaf one to sip on. Until these things have happened, I’m useless. #AddictBrain #ILikeChike #Type2D

Anyway, in case you can’t tell, this is a very happy thread instead of my usual grumpage. Changing habits is SO freaking hard and it feels amazing to see it start to pay off. 💜💕💜

Second protein coffee shake (decaf this time) mixed up. The extra protein helps keep me from eating my feelings. Particularly helpful on days like today. #ILikeChike

All is right with the world. The canisters I use to make it easier to make my Chike protein coffee shakes have all been filled: Caramel, Vanilla, and my beloved Decaf. I can have 2-3 scoops of the flavors each day and everything after that is decaf. I tend to mix them. #ILikeChike #DeskSelfie

Chike’s latest flavor of protein iced tea is my favorite! The others are all good but this one is really special! #ILikeChike

Meanwhile, I tried Chike’s Pineapple Margarita Protein Ice Tea with lunch. YUM!! Now I’ve got their Peach Fusion protein ice tea in my cup. It’s fabulous! Windows are open, time to post some yarn porn, then knit the day away. #ILikeChike

Used some of my rewards points to try Chike’s protein ice tea. I’m trying the Peach Fusion today. Definitely needs ice but it’s really good! Makes a great pick me up between meals and helps curb the cravings. #ILikeChike

I used some of my rewards points to get this cute insulated shaker/tumbler and try a new flavor. I’m loving the pink and the chai is delicious!! If you want to give them a try you can get $10 off with my affiliate link. #ILikeChike

Stepped on the scale today and I’ve dropped another 6.8 lbs in the past three weeks for a total of 13.4 since I started using My Fitness Pal and Chike protein coffee and meal replacement shakes. Woohoo!!! #ILikeChike

Happy Humpday! I’ve got my three things that help me have a good day: lots of water in my favorite tumbler, Chike protein coffee, and knitting. I hope your favorite things are close by and you have a fabulous day! #ILikeChike

Today’s #DeskSelfie is a bit better than yesterday. I’ve at least managed to have the stress knitting already on the desk and Chike sent me an insulated shake tumbler with my most recent subscription shipment. Yay! #ILikeChike #ILoveMugs #ILoveFreeStuff Need to put my pink menorah away now I guess.

I’ve got my decaf iced protein coffee, have Grantchester queued up to keep watching, and I’m starting from just after the gusset decreases on the final holiday sock. #ILikeChike #Knitting #HolidayKnitting 🧶🎄

Time to make the coffee. Got my latest order of their chocolate brownie meal replacement yesterday and they sent along a free sample of White Chocolate Peppermint ice coffee. So I guess that’s how I’ll start today. #ILikeChike

Went to order more Chike meal replacement shake stuff and discovered they now have a decaf version of their ice coffee protein. Hell, yes!! I plan on going 50/50 with the decaf and the caramel. Their flavors blend great together! Today is a mix of pumpkin, caramel, & sweet cream. #ILikeChike

My Chike order arrived today and included a note and a sample of their White Chocolate Peppermint. Definitely trying that tomorrow morning!! #ILikeChike
