Great news today from the UK, which will expand the provision of free school meals. Kudos & congrats to IPNEd member, Sharon Hogdson MP, who is a long-standing and passionate champion of school feeding & the founder & chair of the cross-party group on school food. 🙌
After campaigning on this for over 18 years, I am so pleased to see that this Government will extend free school meals support. Providing more children than ever with a healthy, hot, nutritious meal will truly change lives, particularly in the most deprived areas such as some of those in the NE.
