US Vice President JD Vance said there is still scope for a deal with Iran if its leaders honour their commitments to Washington, while describing Tehran’s political decision-making system as “very confused”.
In an interview with journalist Vince Coglianese, Vance said President Donald Trump had made clear that “there is a universe where we can strike a deal with Iran, but that requires the Iranians to behave”.
