Great opening question from @simran at this @IRFSummit opening plenary about the elevation of one particular religion above others as a threat to the universality of human rights.

Starting off @IRFSummit today with a @USCIRF town hall about the intersection of women's rights and religious freedom. @nuryturkel highlighting the way religion is too often used to abridge the rights of women.

At the Defending IRF track @IRFSummit this morning @SenatorLankford: "Our nation was founded on the idea that you can have your faith, change your faith, or practice no faith at all and be respected as a human being and a citizen." Calls for repeal of blasphemy laws globally.
