While lucky waderologists flock to #IWSGconf, a 4th @GlobalFlyway barwit returns home to Broome/#80MileBeach (from Yawajaba Is further N in Kimberley); the Vansittart Bay bird still staying put. The Sulawesi & Mindoro birds just set off S but the Sibutu bird is still settled.

And don’t forget that crosstagging your #IWSGconf tweets with #shorebirds and #ornithology will reach a wider audience and take the conference much wider 😁

Could I please ask someone at #IWSGconf to check the # of posters presented that have social media tags (and total # of posters) and complete our survey form for #ornithology conferences https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eOJekCKZz7q-g-kAuDvosMm2w2BxqLyrP_Trd1og8yw/edit#gid=0...

And a big thanks again to the #ISTC20 team of @Nina_OHanlon @TriinKaasiku @ElwynSharps supported by @enicurus @Camilo_Carneiro and @VMendezAragon - it always takes a t team to deliver these events! #IWSGconf

Thank you so much @drredshank for your very kind words at #IWSGconf re. #ISTC20="/hashtag/ISTC20" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link">#ISTC20. It was a pleasure and honour to work with IWSG for @IBIS_journal on #ISTC20 - a huge success thanks to the hard work of two great societies! #ornithology #shorebirds #waders

A postcard has made its southwards migration to me from Iceland! What a really nice surprise from friends @VMendezAragon and @_JoseAAlves_ just letting me know how much they enjoyed #ISTC20 and #IWSGconf which I played a small part in. Thanks guys! 😊
