I remember watching when Canada’s games were only shown on tape delay in the middle of the night. I was at Iceteca in Edmonton, Toronto when they qualified in 2022, Vancouver last week. It’s been a long journey but tonight I am so proud of how far we have come. 🇨🇦

Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton had grass until ~2009, could probably put temporary grass over turf again in a pinch, hosted Mexico in world cup qualifying in Nov 2021, was called Iceteca due to the cold 🤣

I was kind of surprised guys I knew who failed at world Cup tickets weren't going up this time like they did for iceteca until I realized it was a work Monday.

I respect what Larin has done for the program (I was at the Iceteca against Mexico and it was glorious) but he is not the striker he was and his play off the ball is not as dynamic as it was even last summer at Copa. On the squad, sure, but no longer in the starting XI.
