Techniques like FUSI allow for functional imaging during awake, moving behavior w/ similar spatial resolution as fMRI & higher temporal resolution, while providing whole-brain coverage (also based on hemodynamics). We're currently collecting sensory-evoked data with one. iconeus.com/what-is-func...

🚀 Your fUS imaging data, one import away from your own analysis.
Today, we're releasing pyIconeus – our official open-source Python library for reading Iconeus data.
September 10, 2026 at 3:04 PM
pyIconeus reads every Iconeus fUS format – .scan, .bps, .bri and .raw/.hraw – all openly documented. From there, your data flows straight into the scientific Python tools you already use (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib…) so the analysis is entirely yours to build.
September 10, 2026 at 3:04 PM
Think of it as a clean data layer between your Iconeus One acquisitions and whatever you want to do next. No black box, no conversion detours: point it at your files and get NumPy arrays back.
🐍 In Python:
from pyiconeus import open_path
scan = open_path("acquisition.scan")
