It's the anniversary of Fight!! Iczer-1. The first OVA was released in 1985, directed by Toshiki Hirano and loosely based on a manga by Aran Rei.

It's one of my favourite anime ever, love it so much with its mix of mecha and body horror.
Here's Iczer-1 and Nagisa 🥰

Hey, if you haven't watched Fight!! Iczer-One yet, what are you waiting for? 😏
The perfect 80's OVA series for the season! Nasty aliens, gore, body horror, cute space elf girls, giant robot fights. All the good stuff!

Iczer1 #1

Following shortly after Eve, I also brought #Iczer1 from the OVA of the same name, from the AIC Heroine Collection line. I remember buying Iczer-1 for myself, during Pride Month of that year, because Iczer-1 (both the character and anime) is an oldtaku lesbian anime icon.
