4⭐️ #IfBooksCouldKill by #KateEberle @michaeljbooks.bsky.social is a light hearted mixed genre read merging a romance meet cute with a crime thriller - a combination that shouldn’t work but does!

As pointed out by IfBooksCouldKill, his list of plane crashes caused by culture included ones blown up by North Korean terrorists and shot down by Russians
Malcolm Gladwell is still a staff writer at @newyorker.com 🤷‍♀️

Really recommend the IfBooksCouldKill podcast on Gladwell as it reveals the depths of Gladwell’s shoddiness in a pretty entertaining way (fact checking)

Ezra is a blatant propagandist and Theil panelist. I think that people need to remember that the NYT has historically been on the Nazi side of history, starting with the Civil War.

I'm going to link the reddit with a link to the Twitter if you want original source.

If books could kill Reddit is very mad that Peter and Michael did a book that wasn’t right wing-y

Debut author @kateeberleauthor ‘s #IfBooksCouldKill is an adorably charming and witty story of a girl who gets her wish to live inside a book — except it turns out to be a crime thriller instead of an HEA romance. 5 stars! From @vikingbooks #netgalley #BookSky

Great episode of one of the best podcasts, #IfBooksCouldKill, covering aspects of psychology like first impressions, thin slicing, social priming, bias, Bargh & Bem, as well as a sprinkling of reproducibility. Fun to hear an external sceptical take on these studies. open.spotify.com/episode/2hcN...
