Almost immediately, Marvel made time travel difficult in the comics. One of their first retcons was making Rama-Tut, in Fantastic Four, an early version of Kang. Immortus is Kang later in his life.

Super confusing and messed up issue. Immortus has been playing his younger selves. Ravonna is shown her death and stays with Immortus over Kang. The Avengers argue over what is right but it doesn't matter because they are transported back to their proper time. Timey Wimey BS.
