#Implementations
I agree like 80%, though the best interfaces still tend to have good implementations of both. Something like a Lyriq may have more physical controls than an iX3 but the overall interface UX is not as coherent; like I LOVE buttons but honestly preferred the iX3's setup because of its execution.

the tech industry's boom in the '10s was very clearly the product of the low interest rate cycle, yeah

it *is* also worth noting that a large number of the 2023-24 layoff cycles were implementations of a 2019 tax policy change which eliminated payroll tax deductions for "research" costs tho

These BRT full-street mock-ups they're showing are just shittier light rail implementations lmao. Has no one posed the question of differentiation directly to their faces?

There's good implementations of all generations of graphics. It's up to the art direction make it appealing beyond its moment in time.

I will start calling computer programmers "engineers" the day they start building things like reference implementations that satisfy strict code correctness standards.
One of the frustrations about "engineering" as a discipline is that the heart of the actual discipline is about taking care to make sure things work within specifications and requirements, but tech industry gender politics has characterised engineering as a work of disruption and disregard.
