I was lucky enough to get to talk about my precious Infinitors as part of #JSApril. Many thanks to Tim and AJ for having me on.

The #Infinitors in action in #YoungJustice Targets. I really wanted those attacking Lex bots to feel like helicopters coming out of the darkness with searchlights. So many fun things to draw. Shapeshifting, super speed. Man, I loved drawing this comic.

I love all of the heroes in the initiation list. We got a real diverse cast of characters. Several JSA’ers and Infinitors, Waverider, JL detroiters, etc.

That merely describes why the team exists, but not what its purpose is.

What do they want to do that's their own thing? The FF are explorers, the X-Men are an advocacy group (more or less), the Titans are "the next generation of heroes," but what are the Infinitors? The _other_ next generation?

I can't remember the timeline there, so the Dork Infinitors may have come first, but the DA are more well known

Yeah, originally the Ragnarock story happened just after COIE but now it's clearly happening in the 50's. Now I wonder when were the Infinitors born? If in the 50s, they'd be as old as their parents look. If it was 15 years ago, they'd all be teenagers.

The further we get from WWII the harder it is to write the JSA as a legacy team…the Infinitors should be the old guard now and we should have a 3rd generation of heroes as the main cast if not a 4th. On Earth-0 even more characters don’t age. The fun with Earth-Two is that they DID age.

This is why I will struggle with JSA 1999 bc I like it unless I consider what it did to my Infinitors

Just when I think I am done talking about comics I go into a rant about how I will always hate Geoff Johns for shitting on Roy/Dann Thomas work of Infinity Inc in JSA 1999 and how most Infinitors have never recovered from that

In my head, Infinitors would be a select team out of the regular roster with maybe a hero added for the mission. I would think the android Hourman would make sense for Hypertime mission & Val-Zod would make sense for Multiversal missions…

I also think they should have sub teams. An Infinitors squad to go across the multiverse & Hypertime. The 7 Soldiers of Victory who would their proactive team of very powerful characters. The All-Star Squad which would take the place of Checkmate in organizing super spies
