Love Song So Hee, one of my favorites is Infodemics, which she did with Jambinai's Lee Ilwoo (Jambinai is also great if you want post rock with traditional Korean instruments)

Infodemics and disinformation spreading are dangerous at several levels.

And there is no vaccine against this, unfortunately.
Recently took a peek at Twitter and the disinformation is getting substantially more dangerous. Someone could get killed.

The tactics of constantly repeating outright lies, targeting specific people, repurposing years-old footage and presenting them as new is getting to another level. It’s scary.

Why the connectivity is important? Because it determines:

- how likely is to have a certain number of followers provided that I follow a given number of other users)

- how an information jumps from one community to another

- virality of rumors and news

- infodemics

Data changed the info business model: confirmation → echo chambers → infodemics
LLMs drop cost of “knowledge-like” content to zero.
Result: Epistemia — when language sounds like knowledge.
Outsourcing shifts decisions from evidence → plausibility
