#Injunctions
4. Injunctions against sending ICE to polling places or interfering with ballots over alleged illegal voting mean this election is suspect immediately

5. "The steal is on." He's not spending a ton of time on this; for them it is a given

6. The Democrats are Sharia Marxists

has been tried taking out an injunctions to prevent anyone reporting these election results, or does that only work in the uk?

Cue the endless court injunctions and lawsuits

sympathize with concerns about nationwide injunctions, forum-shopping, and the "juristocracy," but maybe every court with jurisdiction gets to enjoin one thing a year merely on grounds that it is irreparably stupid

I forgot super injunctions were a thing until all this 😅

Apparently, Republicans are asking right-wing-owned news outlets to call races for Republicans as soon as the polls close, which the party will then use as their (fruitless) first arguments for injunctions, and also use to convince the MAGA base the election was 'fraudulent.'

Thousands of churches — including some opening their doors to voters today — are covered by federal injunctions blocking warrantless DHS immigration enforcement actions on site.

DHS has already been accused of violating one of the injunctions by repeatedly spying on a Baptist church in Minnesota.

For months, some MAGA figures and Republican politicians have argued that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents should monitor polling places on Election Day.

I can't think of anything more inspiring than Faux News going out of business of its own accord. It's even better than injunctions to put them out of business.

I call it being awakened. ... or WOKE

So investigate the assassination attempt? Absolutely!

Fix or get rid of ICE? Likely not, but could chip away at it slowly and gradually.

Stop the destruction of the White House? I actually think he did that illegally anyways so it’ll be a lot of injunctions and a constant fight.

It genuinely breaks my brain a bit knowing that super injunctions are a thing that you're just allowed to have if your rich

If #BAAJA passes, DOJ will move for, and probably get, summary judgment to dissolve any and all injunctions in anticipation of full dismissal of the suit against Interior.
BREAKING: Judge Reyes will open a formal inquiry into whether there were material misrepresentations from DOJ/DOI officials in the East Potomac Golf Course case.

Either Reyes or a special master will carry out the inquiry.

These super injunctions need to be rethought. They're protecting the guilty.

BAAJA also takes away key leverage points for the public, completely eliminating the ability of the public to seek justice in Fed court for violations of NEPA & the NHPA.

W/BAAJA, courts are deprived of their power to vacate permits or impose injunctions to prevent a project's irreparable harms.

Which is why super injunctions are nothing more than an admission of guilt.

Courts in the UK are *very* reluctant to grant permanent (i.e. indefinite) injunctions in these sorts of cases. For obvious reasons. If The Famous Man had asked for an injunction while he was receiving medical treatment, it might be different.

But presumably he just wanted permanent anonymity.
We welcome this verdict. No one should be above scrutiny or accountability, irrespective of their mental health. If they'd succeeded in securing an injunction it would have created yet another loophole through which the rich and powerful suppress legitimate reporting.

Its gonna be a short lived victory for proposal 2 in Michigan. There is sooooo much money on ALL sides that whole organizations might be at risk. i predict lawsuits injunctions based on first amendment protection. gonna try to back door the people's voice. WE made ourselves heard though

Who knows about this stuff? Is it just super injunctions that aren’t granted any more?

State AGs won injunctions blocking DHS grant strings in plaintiff states, *but* the 4th Circuit lifted the nationwide block on Trump's anti-DEI EOs, and DHS ignored lawmakers (Nadler/Schneider) demanding a waiver. So several synagogues refused to apply over that "values vs. safety" loyalty test.

Two injunctions in place currently protect several thousand churches from warrantless DHS presence.

Many of them will welcome voters tomorrow to cast ballots in the midterm elections.
