there are plenty of issues with Platner, but education as a proxy for class is an increasingly meaningless measure of actual class sentiment when 3 in 4 people in the generation making up the plurality of the workforce has at least some college education
In the NYT ME-SEN poll, Platner is up by 2 because he’s running up the score with college grads, not because of any working-class pull

bluesky is only kind of a “social media site”; more fundamentally it’s base of operations for the antifascist intelligentsia under a fascist regime. and what do you expect people will usually be talking about? if for no reason other than: it’s what we have in common. but also, why else are we here?
