Avanti West Coast paid out more than £20m to passengers in just three months this summer in refunds for disrupted journeys on Britain’s main intercity rail network.

the hbf itself is basically done. the airport seems pretty much done, all of the tunnels are built. but they need to connect it to Bad Cannstatt which is going to be an incredibly nasty closure for the railways nationwide since so much intercity traffic will have crazy reroutes.
