erstervonelf may have already held the world record but he wasn’t done teaching the Bydo Empire a lesson on Irem’s 1987 shooter R-Type II. After looping the game, he returned to battle to finish with a new high score of 550,500 points, beating his previous record by 57k.

btw, CC's already confirmed they're making this in-house, and that Irem's hands-on with the collab as they were for R-Type Delta HD—Irem has an active pachinko studio that employs veterans from their gamedev days, but I don't think that includes any NBMM OGs so I wouldn't read too much into it
