Of the articles in the JARMAC special section, I find Martella et al. (2024) most intriguing, which suggests that interspersing active learning and lecture might be most effective (than just active learning or just lecture). This makes sense in terms of students' attention. doi.org/10.1037/mac0...

📣 new paper out in #JARMAC! We found that witnesses who experienced inattentional blindness for a crime were only less accurate and confident when asked cued recall questions. When asked a free recall question, they were just as acc and conf as noticers.

Yes! I have the perfect figure in a Yan & Sana (2021, JARMAC) paper to demonstrate how interactions can be misleading! If you only look at half of the fig, you would come away with 2 totally diff stories about how sequences is moderated by WMC. But the 2 panels together gives the bigger picture.
