#decision-making
NBC keeps saying "we have a decision incoming" and then the decision is "we are close to making a decision"
You CANNOT do the cutaway with the music for a “lean” call. Malpractice

Chris Van Hollen. It’s time to bring a functioning moral compass back into decision-making.
Who should be Senate Majority Leader?

Who should be House Majority Leader?

They’re confusing making tough decision with making stupid decisions.

"Many fishermen / farmers / manufacturing operators should accept their own poor decision-making contributing to mass job losses in their industries, rather than simply blaming government policy"

No minister would ever say this. Some industries matter more than others, apparently
'University leaders should accept that their own poor decision-making contributed to mass job losses in UK academia rather than simply blaming government policy, education secretary Lucy Powell has said.'

Presumably whilst waving the international study levy and SPG grant reductions aloft.
Powell: university leaders should accept blame for financial woes
Vice-chancellors should take responsibility for mismanagement rather than always blaming government policies, says education secretary

me being an overthinker has nothing to do with my decision making. i still make horrible choices regardless.
November 2, 2026 at 4:47 PM
Like seriously, why would you automate this, it's unfathomable to me, the amount of thinking and decision making that happens during it is indispensable
Doing concept art for our new game is proving to be far too fun 😅👀

Robodebt was a harmful government scheme. It cost lives and harmed hundreds of thousands of Australians through its unlawful use of automated decision-making (ADM).

It’s hard to believe, but the Albanese government hasn’t learnt the lessons of Robodebt.

Final day on the Immigration and Asylum Bill Committee.

Today I am calling for AI to be taken out of Home Office decision making, and for trusted non-Government orgs to be brought in to identify and protect victims of modern slavery.

Wish me luck!

Ya, please don't. We are pretty fed up with your decision making as of late

Evangelicals are not serious people.

Unfortunately the cost of their “decision-making” is all too serious.

There will never be a connection between the two.

Actually adequate sleep helps with better decision making….
November 1, 2026 at 10:31 PM
"Sleepwalking" implies they don't know what they are doing.

Quite the contrary.

Whether its #agedcare, #NDIS or the [so-called] mutual obligation welfare regime, the Albanese govt is using automated decision-making to cynically save money.

By punching down. Just like #robodebt. #auspol

I grew up in this country; of course I have trust issues about my fellow citizens' collective decision-making ability.

ok, but the Iran war didn't just start on its own....it was Trump’s decision to launch an unjustified war without having a viable strategy that is why Republicans got clobbered. JD was part of that decision-making & owns the consequences.
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance on Wednesday offered an extraordinarily frank assessment of why he believes Republicans got clobbered in the 2026 midterm elections. He blamed the Iran war. foreignpolicy.com/2026/11/04/v...

In a stunning statement, the U.S. vice president veered sharply from Trump’s defense of the war.

While I’m sure poor decision making hasn’t helped in some cases, might be nice if someone in government accepted that a fixed nominal fee policy which gradually starved universities of funds for over a decade also played a role in financial troubles and job losses.
