Mine: a guy in a clown mask gave me and a dozen people tickets to a free screening at the Metropol. The movie was about clowns. Afterwards we had to wait for a helicopter to crash through the roof to get out. All 144 of us.

Niemöller's story IS NOT "Here's what happened when I underestimated an enemy." It's "Here's what happened when I thought 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'".
