I know a bit about UK Employment Law. I’ve been on first name terms with two of our JSCs and even when I’ve appeared myself it can be hard to predict the outcome. I know next to no US Law and yet it’s easy to guess the outcome of the highest profile SCOTUS cases. Hard to explain how weird that is.

What ever happened to JSCS? It became apparent that JSCS and ESLint were starting to overlap functionality. We were both tired of competing, so we agreed to merge JSCS into ESLint, welcoming all of the JSCS team to the ESLint team.

None of this was inevitable. Around the same time, a tool called JSCS that was focused on code formatting arrived on the scene. JSHint had removed its stylistic rules and encouraged people to use JSCS alongside JSHint. That combination definitely could have won.
