My tires arrived today~~~ but it turns out the new paddock stand i bought is a little narrow. I THINK it'll work to hold the bike up but I'll put jackstand just in case.

+ all the center console buttons honk the horn somehow
+ alignment done with eyes closed

The jackstand was just a backup measure; I just used the sidewalk kerb to get one wheel in the air for changing. Citroen lost their way when they started putting software in their cars which really made maintenance a pain. Never had rust in 7 Citroens.

Reality: The fender loosening mechanism would be seized up from corrosion. Once you get the fender off and if the hydropneumatic suspension holds pressure, the jackstand will punch through the rusted frame rail when load is placed on it.

in between the rain showers yesterday I raced to do the sketchiest, quickest oil change on the shartback. no more diesel oil, its now just got regular 5w30 in it.
cool to think that this outback made it to Reno and back with joke oil in the crankcase.

Those Chinese fluckers make shlt car parts. I deal with it all the time! But then all of a sudden they make the friggen cake container impenetrable and able to use it as a jackstand.

Its been three weeks at this point that i've been on my annual "what the hell have i got myself into this time" event where my car stays on jackstand for many weeks as im tackling projects that are way bigger than they should.
Now im redoing my headers. Cutting out the shit parts and fixing em.
