The Neolithic ‘Newton Peverill Jadeite Axe’ which was found in a field at Newton Peveril in the Stour Valley, Dorset.

The axe is now part of the collections at Dorset Museum & Art Gallery in Dorchester.

variety of jadeite called 'Chrome Jade' but its colour, both the emerald green and the black patches, is due to kosmochlor (and its chromium content).

Kosmochlor gets its name from its occurence in meteorites and its greenness.

The Aztec word chalchihuitl did not strictly mean modern mineralogical jadeite. Instead, it functioned as a general term for precious, hard, greenish or bluish stones that could be polished for ritual and ornamental use.

Maybe bronze starbursts instead of jadeite. I wish I'd actually looked at the drawer fronts between purchasing and receiving the furniture so I actually thrifted something that worked for the whole set.
