There is a build script in the JavaCard Simulator package that expects a folder named "runtime" within the pacakge. But there is no such folder in the package.

Hoping that is the only misalignment in the package.

La CNI n'est pas adaptée pour ça, c'est très proche du protocole des e-passport. Pas fait pour stocker des secrets. Mieux vaut s'orienter vers de la JavaCard et une applet open source comme IsoApplet ou PIVapplet. Ou une yubikey/FIDO2/U2F avec pam-u2f.

I feel like I've run into too many problems from bugs in the DK. I'm posting an inquiry on Oracle's JavaCard development forum about this and am asking for a known good combination for the simulator and the development kit. It feels like they didn't do full tests.

As a developer, I just want to "run" JavaCard applets on a desktop machine (arm64), so of course I had to pick up the remains of jcardsim to try to add some GlobalPlatformPro UX onto it. Called it JCardEngine. Next: global platform support with oracle's sim passthrough. github.com/martinpaljak...

Any ARM processor that includes ARM9EJ-S extensions 'is' a hardware java machine. Which amusing is a lot of modern smart phones as javacard stuff was wildly successful for SIM cards & cell network identification.

Ah ha! It is the build scripts they provided! The scripts have the paths to certain jar files embedded within. But it is the wrong path.

Oracle doesn't put a lot of QA into packaging this SDK.

I've gotten the Hello World program to compile to a class file.
