The government is introducing extra cuts for people on jobseekers allowance who are deemed not to ‘engage’ with employment services.
At a time when one in seven children are living in poverty, they are going to push more children below it.

Ireland’s #BasicIncomeForTheArts grant is €325 a week. The #JobseekersAllowance rates there start at €244 per week.This scheme will turn people against the arts, not into artists, if not made fair and equal for all in need.
