The Man Standing Next (2019) is probably a better introduction to the Park assassination for non-Koreans but I find it too stiff and too reductive. A lot like Lee Harvey Oswald, there are many theories on why Kim Jae-gyu, the KCIA Director, decided to shoot Park. It's not clean as this movie implies
