Honestly? KMFDM.
What's a band or artist that you fell so hard for in the early years that you continued to buy albums by them long past the point where it was reasonable or wise?
The journalistic term for such releases is "a return to form".
I'll start. REM and Elvis Costello.

Cybergoth hot take: I wish some cybergoths would stop calling those getting into industrial music "posers" or "introductory" for liking KMFDM or NIN especially when the electro-industrial/aggrotech genre itself hasn't evolved in 20 or so years

At least Trent takes risks with his music and KMFDM albums all have a slightly different sound
I love electro-industrial/aggrotech but don't act like it's innovative

Track of the Day: "Juke-Joint Jezebel" by KMFDM
An all-too familiar anthem by this German industrial band that blew up beyond their circle and into fame with appearances in movie soundtracks. #industrislmusic

I also personally selected KMFDM to be her favorite band because I thought that'd be the best fit for her personality. It isn't every day when you encounter a Russian arctic fox choosing a German industrial rock band as her favorite 🇩🇪

Unrelated to the election, but Martin Atkins just released a new Pigface lineup and you gotta hand it to that guy for keeping at this shit for like 40 years at this point.
Love to see a band w members of KMFDM, Lamb of God, Against Me, The Locust, Lords of Acid, and Ganser because fuck it why not
