Correct. (Biased he is one of my favorite actors.) But these type of scenes are more common in KMovies than KDramas.

Last night, I was having trouble sleeping, so I watched #AntiqueBakery because there was some chatter about the movie. I 🫶🏾 Ju Ji Hoon. I can't believe I never saw it. Terrible script but stacked with favorite actors. #KMovies and #KDramas

I really struggle with kmovies... the most i tried were either too silly or too violent for me... the only one i have in positive memory is #Uprising

Good point. I do enjoy watching a few Kmovies. And often it's just very critical of Korean society (which is something many dramas don't do). But yes, many are male-centric. But is it that far from Hollywood though, for example? Only in recent years have there been more

Older dramas actually have more sex though not explicit like kmovies. I don't remember the year but the government there passed very conservative broadcast standards and you have a lot less it recent kdramas. Maybe around 2015-16

Kocowa has been around for awhile but it's pretty much only kdramas & more recently kmovies. It started only N. America. Also they have a partnership w/ Viki so a lot of their content is on Viki too. There are many people that just get the highest Viki tier instead of Kocowa too

Thank you. I investigated three kmovies this year and all ended with tears. Lots of tears. I still not over what they did to me with the 20th century girl, because I thought it was a romcom because the trailer.

Also adding that a lot kmovies tend to be super violent or have lots of nudity.. so just keep an eye out their ratings..
