I used to maintain an aspirational to-read pile near my bed. 30 or 40 books from which I’d pull, often at random. I’d fallen out of the habit when we decamped to Florida, but I never stopped buying books.
Gonna try to rekindle the love and tackle these. Wish me luck.

Read Kalivas! by @nmamatas.bsky.social yesterday and it was really good. I do not know The Tempest well so I probably missed some allusions & nuances, but I realized today my head is still on the island in the story so it grabbed hold for sure. Surreal with a lot of dry humor.
